i love love this top! it was a quick and beautiful knit, and since it needed a little under two skeins of bernat’s cotton tots, it cost less than $7 – incredible!

thanks to christine for a wonderful pattern—she’s coming out with more in the near future and i’ll be sure to keep an eye out. for more detailed stats about laleh, go to my project page. photos by yy.

in other news, i am picking up my long-awaited yarn today since the ups guy couldn’t get them to me at a reasonable hour (grrr) and on monday i finally received those phildar mags – beautiful patterns! but first, a loose-fitting v-neck sweater for me and (possibly) a clapotis for a friend of mine’s upcoming wedding.. in italy! hopefully some big news about that coming up soon too.

It looks so good on you that you should make one in every color! Wow, what a great deal on the Bernat too—it really is beautiful! Congrats, Andrea! :)

Look how cute you are in the Laleh! Lookin’ good!

I’m still slack-jawed over the materials cost. Unbelievable.

Hope you’re having a terrific week!

I actually said aloud, “How cute are you?” The answer? So cute. That sweater (?) looks really great on you and you did a great job. Could you please send some finishing vibes my way? ;-) (And what’s with me and the question marks?)

Wow that’s wonderful! Look out boys!

I have a pile of Cotton Tots too but of course I was thinking baby. I may have to change that plan, but I have six more months before it’s summer in Chicago! ;0
