wow!!! that scarf is gorgeous, Andrea. really really beautiful. impressive spindling.

mmm… soup. pretty food mill. makes me want to start simmering; i think i have the makings of a potato leek soup or lemon potato soup in my fridge.

I adore soup…potato & cheddar is on my list for this week… mmmmm.

That’s a great idea to make a small project from each 4 oz batch of your handspun. Somehow I just accumulate it, and later look at all these random bits and wonder what to do with them! Your new scarf is lovely…I love the color even more knitted up!

That scarf is SO beautiful. I love that patterning. Great work, A. Be very proud of it! ;)

I love the red theme of this post. I know it was meant for Valentine’s, but it is like a warmup for Project Spectrum too!

Lovely scarf! I love the color and the yarn itself as well.

Homemade kechup? That sounds like fun :-)

I love the theme… Happy Valentines Day.

The scarf is gorgeous and the yarn looks so pretty with that pattern.

I totally dig that scarf. I love red, but can’t wear much of it. (So sad). I have some of that same great roving as well – I’ll have to do something spectactular with it, too!

Love that scarf! And I’m interested to see what things you make from that tomato powder…I’ve never heard of that!

I’m really jealous of your scarf AND your food mill. I’ve been thinking about getting a food mill for a while (ever since I read Deborah Madison’s description of tomato sauce made with a mill), but I’ve never seen one as cute as yours.

the scarf is absolutely gorgeous. i’m in total awe of you spinning your own yarn and knitting such beautiful things. great pattern/colour combo as well.

happy weekend, andrea!
