"Why should we hear about body bags and deaths? Oh, I mean, it's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"

what a revelation! considering necessity, mother of invention, and all that, here’s my long-suffering laceleaf sweater finally finished up and happily worn. i’ll get project info up later tonight..
two detailed shots, one artsy-fartsy photo that came out like that – i really like how magicky it looks -, and one brrrr-it-really-is-cold (i keep being surprised by that!) photo. i love this sweater. it was a pretty simple knit, i just dragged my heels about it for far too long. now, you can’t take it off me.
tomorrow they’re predicting snow ~ crossing my fingers for more than flurries. happy winter ~
Aw, great sweater! Snow sounds nice… I remember the days of waking up and rushing to the window to look at the rooftops and see how deep it got. I hope you get enough for a good snowball, at least!
Look at all those leaves in the yard! Hopefully they will soon be covered in a layer of white goodness.
The sweater really did turn out well.
I am hoping for snow! (I can’t believe you were outside without pants – or tights! – it has been so cold here!)
Lovely sweater. The color looks really nice on you!

That’s a lovely sweater and the yarn looks very soft. Wish I was there to see the snow!
It looks wonderful! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. It’s a great sweater. Still missing you! We’ll be in Boston for Xmas – I wish it were closer to Maryland….
