living tree!

~ my sisters and me back in 1987-ish. i’m the one in yellow. i just loved that outfit.
~ the table is back, hurrah; the paperwhites are unevenly growing but i can’t wait for the flowers!; just got the tree yesterday – it’ll be planted in the woods after the holidays. i love it.
~ mamacat happily sniffing the tree; my russian ornaments from way back when ;)

Buon Natale also! I’m so happy to see that old table continuing its life in such a festive place! As a matter of fact, that table has been the center of many a great festa. It must bring lots of good energy and memories with it, wherever it goes. i’m making cannoli tonight for our family’s christmas party— even making the ricotta cheese from scratch! And moco the cat is a very bad cat— he’s discovered how to roll eggs off the kitchen counter to break them, so he can eat them. he did three last night. ugh! i’m afraid his intelligence and dexterity is evolving way too fast—
