dyed lincoln and mohair locks i got with meowgirl at the maryland wool and sheep festival this past may -- i couldn't resist these colors, they absolutely reminded me of my prom dress ;)
happy weekend ~ ~
wow, you did an amazing job with these fibers—the combing, the spinning, the knitting!! i love the texture, and the colors have such a moody depth. the beret is cute!
i remember us rushing through that booth late sunday of the festival, admiring bags and bags of colorful locks. good memories. :)

Oh, that’s great! I love the pics from start to finish, and I love the product. I have yet to graduate to actually making a useful object from my handspun – thanks for the inspiration.

That is so wonderful! Although I have knit with my handspun, I still don’t have an FO! I’ve been missing you a lot lately. It’s so sad to be without you, Marnie and MJ! It’s so hard to believe that you’ve been gone a year. Let’s stay in better touch. Love, J

Great handspun, great project. There are times when imperfect handspun works well with a knit, and this is one of them. Is there a pattern to that? I wish I brought some of my handspun to Germany with me….

Wow… how did I miss this entry? What a fabulous quickie project!
